The page is dedicated to all the hotel carpets Bill sees on his travels, whether they're patterned with muted stripes or wild jewel-tone paisley.

So how did this delightful Instagram come to fruition? Jill told Mashable via Twitter DM that Bill decided to make the account after he'd already been posting a few carpet shots on his photography Instagram.

"My mom had the idea for him to make a separate account," she said. Good thing, too -- the quilted look of the main page is part of what makes it so charming.
