If you've been procrastinating getting a flu shot this season, eroticism abstract today's a good day to order an Uber.
The ride-hailing company will give free flu shots to customers who order the option through a health section in the Uber app on Tuesday. One Uber for Health order can vaccinate up to five people.
Nurses with Passport Health, a travel medicine and immunization company, will deliver the flu shots. The shots are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in 15 U.S. cities.
Uber has delivered flu shots for three years, but this is the first time the shots are available without any fees.
The shots are part of a flu care package, which Uber charged for in the past even though the actual shots were technically free. This year, the whole thing is free of charge.
"Every year, the flu affects 20 percent of the population — but it doesn’t have to. Every person who receives a flu shot reduces the risk of others getting the flu by 50-60 percent," Uber health care advisor John Brownstein wrote in a blog post. "We can all fight this thing together."
The health information customers must provide to receive a flu shot will only be shared with Passport Health, Uber said.
