Stranger Thingshas gone full retro.
While we wait for the Season 2 of the series to begin — that's Oct. 27,Sisters Slave everyone — Netflix has launched an official, '80s-style Stranger Thingsgame on the iPhone and iPad.
SEE ALSO: Here's what 'Stranger Things' would look like if it were a romantic comedyThe game, which launched Wednesday, appears to be a classic, 2D action/puzzle game which will immediately warm the heart of anyone who ever owned a Commodore 64 or a ZX Spectrum computer.
The game, created by indie developer Bonus XP, is free to play and lets you "explore Hawkins and its surroundings," see cool locations such as the Mirkwood Forest, and "uncover exciting areas you've never seen before."
The game will let you solve puzzles in different ways, depending on whether you've chosen to play with Lucas (who has a wrist rocket) or Nancy (who has a collection of bats, the swinging type). You should also collect Eggos and Gnomes to unlock secret content.
All we can say is: Sign us right up.
We haven't had time to play the game much yet, but should we find any clues about the upcoming season of the show — and we totally, absolutely expect to — we'll let you know.
