Samsung today sent out invites for "A Galaxy Event" taking place on Oct 11. Yep, that means there is yet another Galaxy device arriving relatively soon. The invite interestingly does not include a location or time. Instead, it says that Samsung will be streaming the event live.

Since the Galaxy Note 9 only recently launched, it's hard to imagine what this next device could be. One theory is that it could be Samsung's long-rumored foldable phone. Samsung also says in its official press release that the new Galaxy device "is bringing more ways to express yourself than ever before." This leads us to believe that the announcement could have something to do with cameras — either in its phones or its burgeoning mirrorless camera line.

The invites also come just two days after Apple held a special media event at the Steve Jobs Theater where the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR were unveiled.
