Naturally, people were not pleased with losing access to the site, particularly on a Monday morning when the need for distraction is strong.

Still, others wondered if it just happened to be a coincidence that Reddit went down the same morning net neutrality was officially repealed. (The company has come out as an outspoken proponent of net neutrality in the past, though there was no messaging about the legislation on its site, like it's had in the past.)
