After a meeting earlier this week between Vietnam and China, President Donald Trump accused the countries of trying to "screw" the United States.

Beyond that, all internet leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, even from a source that is generally reliable. It's very possible that Nintendo itself still isn't certain when it will open pre-orders in the United States and Canada, and if that's the case, retailers wouldn't know, either.

Despite all the uncertainty, Nintendo remains adamant that the Switch 2 will be launching on June 5 as planned.
