U.S. folks,Rolls Royce Baby you can now buy a brand new Nokia. And Amazon Prime members can get it on the cheap.
Launching exclusively with Amazon for the time being, the company's most powerful Android smartphone, Nokia 6, is available for pre-order starting Tuesday.
SEE ALSO: The Nokia 3310 is no match for Glastonbury festivalOriginally launched in China in January, the Nokia 6 is a mid-range phone, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a 5.5-inch, full HD screen, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel selfie cam, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (with memory card support), a 3,000mAh battery and dual speakers. It's contract-free, and compatible with AT&T's and T-Mobile's networks.
The Nokia 6 costs $229.99 on Amazon, but Prime members will be able to get it for $179.99 — a solid price given the launch price in China was roughly $250. It will start shipping on July 10.
The launch is a part of Amazon's Prime Exclusive Phones program, which offers entry-level and mid-range devices on the cheap, if you don't mind seeing Amazon's ads and offers on the phone's lock screen.
Besides the Nokia 6, Amazon added a few other phones to the program as well, including three Alcatel phones: Alcatel Idol 5S ($199.99 for Prime members), Alcatel A50 ($99.99 for Prime members), and the Alcatel A30 PLUS ($79.99 for Prime members). Finally, the program now includes Motorola’s Moto E4, which costs $99.99 for Prime members.
Just like the Nokia 6, all of the devices above can be pre-ordered today and will ship on July 10 except the Moto E4, which starts shipping on June 30.
