Squirrel Girl is Watch Private Gladiator 3 (2002)finally coming soon to a screen near you.

Freeform has just announced the new cast of Marvel's New Warriors, an upcoming live-action comedy about six young superheroes dealing with their abilities and their personal lives while also fighting off bad guys.

In the female lead role of Squirrel Girl will be Milana Vayntrub, most recently seen playing Sloane Sandburg in This Is Us. If you don't watch that show, you might better know her as the unflappable saleswoman in those AT&T ads.

The male lead of Mister Immortal has gone to Derek Theler (Baby Daddy). Rounding out the rest of the ensemble are Jeremy Tardy (Dear White People) as Night Thrasher, Calum Worthy (Austin & Ally) as Speedball, Matthew Moy (2 Broke Girls) as Microbe, and Kate Comer (The Comeback) as Debrii, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The Squirrel Girl casting comes after months – really years – of fantasy casting and social media campaigning. Fan-favorite picks included Shannon Purser (a.k.a. Barb from Stranger Things) and Mae Whitman (Her? from Arrested Development), both of whom were considered for the part; as well as Anna Kendrick, who's stated an interest in playing the character.

New Warriorshas already been picked up by Freeform for ten episodes to premiere in 2018. Kevin Biegel (Enlisted) serves as showruner.
