Forget light side and Watch Four Riders (Hellfighters of the East) Onlinedark side – the new Star Warsmovie is traveling into some shady corners.
Meet "DJ," the new character who is played by Benicio del Toro in The Last Jediand looks exactly as sketchy as you'd expect a character played by Benicio del Toro to be.

I don't know anything about Benicio Del Toro as a person, but he sure is typecast as, uh, this exact character. pic.twitter.com/643ZbI0qni

This guy is so mysterious, in fact, that he doesn't even have a proper name. According to Vanity Fair, he "goes unnamed in the film but is called DJ by the filmmakers." Why DJ? All director Rian Johnson will say is that "there's a reason" for the nickname.
DJ is one of a small handful of new characters in The Last Jedi. Others include Holdo, a Resistance officer played by Laura Dern; and Rose Tico, a Resistance maintenance worker played by Kelly Marie Tran.
Rose is expected to be a major player in The Last Jedi– she even earned a spot on the Vanity Faircover alongside Finn, Poe, and BB-8. And she isn't coming alone. She has a sister, Paige (Veronica Ngo), who'll be a gunner working alongside Poe Dameron.
All of these people will help bring us to corners of the Star Warsuniverse we haven't yet seen, including a Monte Carlo-esque casino called Canto Bright, which Johnson describes as "a playground for rich assholes."
Because that's the beauty of this galaxy – no matter how many people we meet or how many places we travel to, there are always new characters to fall in love with and new territory to explore.
