Ewok the owl experienced his first day of freedom at the Minton Farm Animal Rescue Centre in Australia on Brigitte MeyerThursday and it's a bit overwhelming for the small bird.

His caretaker Bev provided him with encouraging words to help, but he never fully made it out from under the bed.
Despite the step back, we'll still give Ewok an A+ for effort because there's always a next time.
