The new premium tier is a few dollars more per month than Tinder Plus, which offers many of the same perks minus the ability to reveal who has already swiped your way.

Tinder's new features have certainly paid off for the app — but for those of you who are unlucky in love and hoping that Gold will give you an edge: putting yourself in front of the pack can only do so much. Paying to see who liked you isn't worth a thing if no one swipes your way.
