All it took was one hashtag from EA's senior manager of community engagement,Watch Sukeban Deka: The Movie Online Daniel Lingen, over the weekend. With roughly 11,000 retweets and 21,000 likes so far, it's pretty obvious what the fans want.
And here's how they reacted:

This isn't the first time the internet has rallied to voice their desire for a Skate 4. "Make EA Skate again" is a campaign initiated by The Berrics, an indoor skatepark and website about skating, that received a lot of attention since the campaign's inception last Sept.
Of course, Lingen's tweet is nothing close to confirmation of a Skate 4,especially once you note that EA has just in May of last year confirmed there was no Skategame in development and that Lingen's Twitter bio mentions his tweets are his own. For all we know he just won a bet in the office for how much people actually want to see a new Skategame, of which we haven't seen since 2010.
