Leave it to Instagram to come up with a new three-second video format that changes everything.
It's called Superzoom,Marathi Archives and it's rolling out to Instagram's apps today. The feature lets you record three-second clips with a dramatic zoom effect perfect for memes and dramatic Story posts.

It records a three second clip that zooms in extremely close on whatever the camera is pointed at. Here's what it looks like in action:
Via GiphyLike Boomerangs, the new format might take a little experimentation to get right, since the clips are limited to three seconds at a time. But once you get the recording right, the three-second Superzoom videos are ripe for meme-making.
Elsewhere in the app, Instagram also added a bunch of Halloween face filters so you can dress up your selfies for Halloween.
