Donald Trump is France Archivesone of millions who celebrated International Women's Day on Twitter with tweets that affirmed the "critical role of women" around the world. The president, who has a predominately male administration, quickly received flack from Twitter users who met his statements with previous remarks he's made about women—and J.K. Rowling's joined in, too.
On Wednesday afternoon, the author reminded us all that the United States elected a man who once bragged about sexual assault, despite what he may say about his "tremendous respect" for women today.

"I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy," Rowling wrote, quoting Trump's tweets regarding International Women's Day.
The picture she attached to the quote, however, is the infamous words Trump uttered to Billy Bush in 2005 in which Trump said "you can do anything" with women if you're a "star," boasts about kissing women without consent and how he can "grab 'em by the pussy."
