You're not going to believe this, plenty of fish sex videos but things get bloody in The Weeknd's new short film.
The Weeknd, represented by his human self, Abel Tesafaye, and a black leopard apparently named Murphy, encounters a mysterious enemy to a violent end in is his new 12 minute video/mini slasher flick.
SEE ALSO: The Weeknd announces 2017 tour dates in support of 'Starboy'The short film features clips of previously released songs from Starboy, out later this week — "All I Know," "Party Monster" and "I Can Feel It Coming" featuring Future, Lana del Rey and Daft Punk, respectively. We get a taste of "Sidewalks," too, although Kendrick Lamar's verse is still under wraps.
Tesafaye makes a nod to his incredible success story, singing, "Homeless to Forbeslist," as he travels to a perilous nightclub, the eventual scene of the crime, in a flashy sports car. Eerily, the whole thing closes out with a happy ending of sorts.
The clip was directed by Sky Ferreira collaborator Grant Singer and produced by Anonymous Content, the production company behind Mr. Robot.
