Much like a mighty dragon might shrug off a barrage of teeny,Gangnam Daughter in law (2019) insignificant arrows,Game of Throneshas shaken off concerns that an episode leak might dent its ratings -- the HBO hit just scored its most-watched episode yet with "The Spoils of War," despite the fact that the dramatic installment was illegally released online three days before it aired.
Episode 4 of Season 7 scored 10.2 million viewers on Sunday night, beating the previous record set by the Season 7 premiere, "Dragonstone," which nabbed 10.1 million viewers on July 16. And that's not even counting the additional viewers who watched this week's episode via DVR, VOD or streaming, or those who will inexplicably wait a few days to watch it.
"The Spoils of War" was already a record-breaker even before it aired -- during production, the series established a new benchmark for the number of stunt men who were set on fire in one stunt sequence, which saw Daenerys and Drogon incinerate the Lannister army.
So for anyone trying to come for Game of Thrones' crown, HBO has one thing to say to you:
