"I'm clearly thankful for all of you,A Guy Who Tried To Eat His Friend’s Sister in law and Got Eaten (2024)" White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters at Monday's White House press briefing.

The thankfulness didn't stop with Sanders. She implemented a rule for Monday's briefing -- the final one before the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday.
"This is how it’s going to work today," she said. "If you want to ask a question I think it’s only fair since I’ve shared what I’m thankful for…you start off with what you’re thankful for.”
So it went.
White House correspondent April Ryan started it off -- not necessarily by choice, but she played along with the stunt.
Others shared their thanks for surviving the 12-day Asia trip with President Trump and the First Amendment. At one point a reporter was admonished for not following the rules. Not under Sanders' watch
Newsmax's John Gizzi embraced the thankful exercise and really got into it.
