Seinfeld might have Caught in the Act: Promiscuous Sex Life of My D-Cup Mother in lawended almost 20 years ago, but Jerry Seinfeld's penchant for awkward human interactions lives on.
On Monday night, Seinfeld attended the National Night of Laughter and Song event at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. While there, the comedian was approached by singer Kesha during an interview with radio host Tommy McFly, who uploaded the clip to Twitter.

In the clip, Kesha interrupts a totally important story Seinfeld was telling about sleep to say, "Oh my gosh I love you so much."
Then she pops the big question: "Can I give you a hug?" That's when things got awkward.
"No, thanks," Seinfeld says pretty insistently.
Despite the turn-down, Kesha is persistent. She asks him again and again. It's a "no" both times.
Later when a saddened Kesha walks away in defeat, Seinfeld says, "I don't know who that was."
McFly clears up everything, telling the comedian that the woman who approached him was Kesha. But it looks like in Seinfeld's mind, she's just another fan.
