The auto-eroticismfollowing post contains spoilers for Season 6 of Game of Thrones and, actually, Season 7 we guess. Be careful!
Well, so much for a season finale cliffhanger.
HBO's Making Game of Thrones blog released an infographic explaining the connection between Ned Stark and Jon Snow. In the process, they revealed something the show seemed to keep a secret: that Snow's father is Rhaegar Targaryen.
Oops.
A clear "parent" line is pointing from Rhaegar to the new King in the North, finally confirming the R+L=J theory.
Sure, it didn't make a ton of sense for the show to reveal that Lyanna was Snow's mother but continue to hide the identity of his father. But like, at least make sure everyone in the company is on board with keeping the secret, right?
Don't sweat it, HBO, you'll get us with the next 20-years-in-the-making reveal.
