At Sunday's Creative Arts Awards for the 2017 Emmys, McCarthy took home the statue for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for hosting Saturday Night LiveSeason 42.

Both actors were part of multiple sketches in their guest roles, but each had a zeitgeist-y standout moment: Chappelle's monologue and McCarthy's repeated appearances as Spicer were not only high points for the show, but became inextricably linked to Trump's leadership and how Americans respond to it.
The Creative Arts Emmys took place Sunday in Los Angeles. The main Emmy broadcast will air Sunday, Sept. 17 on CBS.
