What997 Archives and I simply can't stress this next part enough, the hell did Trump just do?
It's the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and we're all just trying to survive. Did we need the president of United States to mess with us on Twitter? We FOR SURE did not. But that's just the kind of guy he is, so he decided to inexplicably tweet a picture of himself as Rocky Balboa with no comment or context.
You know, just casual, normal, very legal and cool president stuff!

It's unclear why the big guy in the White House tweeted this particular photo, which he appears to have taken from this parody "Rocky Trump" poster, but he did. (There's even a "Trumpy Balboa" shirt, too — oh good!)
The most logical explanation for the picture is that Trump really likes the Rocky film series, and wanted to celebrate the anniversary of Rocky IV's release, which happened on Nov. 27, 1985. Boy do I wish he had simply typed out a celebratory movie tweet instead of exposing our eyes to this cursed image.

Though it's the film's anniversary, because Trump included no words alongside the image it's impossible to know his true motive for tweeting. Does it mean he's ready to fight? Is the picture an attempt at letting everyone know he's extremely strong in the midst the impeachment hearings? If that's the case, this is one heck of an awkward way to try to distract people.
For those unaware of Rocky's connection to Nov. 27, the tweet seems especially cryptic. Also, how in the world did he find this image? Is he spending Thanksgiving eve searching "Trump shirtless" or "Trump Rocky Balboa" on Google? As you can imagine, people are confused. But not Don Jr. it seems — he liked his dad's tweet.

It's also worth noting that at Trump's recent rally in Sunrise, Florida, he made several comments about his upper body when explaining his unannounced trip to the hospital. Trump referred to his own chest as "gorgeous," before saying, "we've never seen a chest quite like it."
Public photographic evidence of Trump having ever been shirtless in his life is essentially nonexistent, so perhaps when Trump learned it was the Rocky IVanniversary he decided to tweet his head on Rocky's body instead of a real image from the film. I'd imagine Sylvester Stallone's chest circa 1985 is far more impressive than Trump's in 2019, so it makes sense. A real two birds with one stone situation.
Someone, please help.
UPDATE: Nov. 27, 2019, 12:45 p.m. EST The post was revised to include additional information about the 'Rocky' release date.
