Jennifer Lawrence and Short film Archivesdirector Darren Aronofsky have had an "amicable split," Entertainment Tonightreported on Wedndesday.
The two dated for around a year after working together on the film mother!, released earlier this year to mixed reactions. While two spoke highly of each other during the press run of the film and are reportedly remaining friends after their split, Lawrence recently discussed how exactly they transitioned from a work relationship to a personal one.

And then once the movie was done, I was like, ‘All right! You’re my boyfriend.’"
Twitter reacted to the breakup of the unexpected couple with pretty similar jokes all tying back to the film.
