It's been a minute between Wordlevariants, and this one is spectacularly hard if you don't live in London or know the Tube like the back of your hand.
Tubleis the latest clone of the daily word puzzle, which asks you to guess the London Underground station — yep, best Wordle starting words won't help you here. You might be across well-known stations like Waterloo, Oxford Circus, or Paddington, but there are hundreds more — 272 stations across 11 lines covering 402 kilometres, in fact. You can download an official Tube map to help you get started.
SEE ALSO: What is 'Wordle'? Here's everything you need to know. It's not clear whether stations from the newly opened Elizabeth Line are included, and the DLR, Overground, and railway lines are not included in the answers or the stop count.
You have six tries to guess the Tuble of the day, and after each guess, a tile appearing on the right side hints at how close you are. Literally how close.
On the right, Tuble will give you a numbered hint at how many stops away from the station you are, and a colour indicating whether you're in the same zone:
Green means the station is in the same zone.
Yellow means the station is one zone away.
Orange means the station is two zones away.
Red means the station is more than two zones away.
London's transport system (including the Tube) operates in six expanding circular zones determined by Transport for London (TfL), with Zone 1 being the centre of the city and Zone 6 being the furthest from it.
Yep! Give it a shot. Use the map if you want!
